Resonant's Dr. Pete Collins receives AMTA Joe Pape Award
Dayton, Ohio, October 30, 2024 — Resonant Sciences’ Dr. Peter Collins receives the AMTA Joe Pape Honorary Life Membership award.
Resonant Sciences is proud of our excellent team and our vast array of accomplishments. On Wednesday, October 30th, Dr. Peter Collins – a Resonant Sciences Technical Fellow – received the prestigious Antenna Measurement Techniques Association’s (AMTA) Joe Pape Honorary Life Membership award.
The Joe Pape Honorary Life Membership is AMTA’s highest award and is bestowed upon an individual who has “attained national or international recognition through their contributions to the electromagnetic or related communities and has had a direct and lasting impact on the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association”.
The award was presented at a banquet on October 30th, during the 46th Annual Meeting and Symposium of the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association, at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in greater Cincinnati, Ohio.
At Resonant, Dr. Collins is responsible for the design, development, and integration of survivability technologies for a variety of customer applications. A retired USAF Lt. Colonel, Pete holds a BSEE degree from the University of Minnesota, as well as a BA degree, and both an MS and PhD from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Dayton, Ohio. His technical leadership impacts many organizations from US labs to the Pentagon. Previously, Peter served as Chief Scientist, Office of Research, SecAF and held a tenure as Commander of the National RCS Test Facility. He is the recipient of prestigious awards and holds a US Patent.
